Information behavior is often studied in specific fields or subsets of the population.
I surveyed the scant literature on information behavior of people in refugee camps, both camp residents and aid workers, as well as the layout of information resources and informal information centers within camps.
I conclude by arguing for more research in this area, as well as the decentralization of information resources within camps, and supporting camp residents in creating information maps.
